Magic with decisions behind it
The Labyrinth’s design combines its cinematic journey with strategic deckbuilding. A spell is part of a set of choices about the abilities the cat brings into a challenge.
Cards and upgrades are intended to give progression shape beyond simply reaching the next location. Different decisions about growth can change the possibilities available along the way.
Lucidity gives growth a cost
Lucidity is the design’s spendable, experience-like resource. It connects advancement to decisions about acquiring cards and improving abilities.
The campaign, rewards, and progression economy are still being integrated. These are the principles behind the RPG, rather than a published final balance or a complete spell catalog.

Keep the dream in view
Exploration is intended to remain largely diegetic: the environment itself carries the experience. Combat makes a deliberate exception for a radial spell interface, giving strategic choices a clear place on screen.
The aim is to let the player engage with the depth of an RPG while preserving the presence of the cinematic world and the emotional search at its center.
