Give the order
Speak to the ship in the language of command. Call for battle stations, divert power to shields, or order evasive maneuvers as the situation changes.
Earth is under attack. Take command of a captured alien battlecruiser, lead your crew, and cross hostile space in a cinematic strategy game you can speak to.

The Needle puts ship command inside a continuous cinematic space opera. The film is connected to a simulation: orders, resources, damage, crew, and the course you choose all matter.
You are responsible for more than firing the weapons. Travel, salvage, repairs, power allocation, and the people aboard the ship form part of the same command experience. The story around you responds to the decisions behind it.
The Needle on SteamSpeak to the ship in the language of command. Call for battle stations, divert power to shields, or order evasive maneuvers as the situation changes.
Weapons, shields, hull, equipment, and available resources create interdependent decisions. Stronger protection and greater firepower compete for what the ship can provide.
The next course, a repair, a recruitment decision, or what you recover from a wreck can matter beyond the immediate encounter.
